Title: Adjusting gs500e high beams?
Post by: Andy13186 on November 14, 2009, 04:59:03 AM

is there a way to adjust the high beams on the gs500e headlight?  do you just aim it more down or can you adjust the brights individually?  my normal light is set fine, but my brights are way too high,, i illuminate like 30 feet high on trees and stuff, its pretty ridiculous so i never really use it.

I have your same problem, I find either 1) the high beam to be too high when the dipped is ok, or 2) the dipped to be too low when the high beam is set correctly.

there's nothing you can do I'm afraid, the only way the beam height can be set is tilting up-down the whole headlight unit as per user's manual, high/dipped beams can't be set individually, you have one single bulb for them both..

personally I opted for option no. 2), my headlight is tilted all the way down. YMMV.

Hope this helps!

you may try taking the bulb and make sure it is seated properly
