Title: Anyone have a sidecar on the GS?
Post by: gregvhen on November 15, 2009, 08:47:44 PM
Just wondering how many people on here (if any) run a GS side car. if you say you do then youre lying, unless you post a pic.

I believe that there is one out there somewhere. You'd be lucky to pull the skin off a rice pudding with a chair on a GS.

All you'd have to do is push it down a hill to get it moving, then lock the rear wheel as it crosses the pudding. Resulting skid should do the trick! Be sure to wear your helmet.

The gs will pull a chair- The older Urals make about 40 Horsepower and move their chairs  just fine. Change the sprockets to gear it down- not like you need to do top speed runs.

I have a Sidecar but it's not going on a GS....Going on a VX800  (maybe 10-12 more HP than a GS...) eventually ...unless I change my mind.

I've seen 2 pictures of GSs with sidecars on this forum. Oddly enough they were both posted in different threads in the same week.
