Title: no power
Post by: pallybear on December 13, 2009, 03:36:54 PM
okay, so I had a dead battery that wouldn't hold a charge, so I replaced it with a brand new fully charged battery. After installing the new battery, I turned on the ignition, all my lights came on and everything. When I tried starting the bike, I heard a *click* and then all my lights turned out and I have no power. I assumed that it was the fuse, and I replaced it with the spare. Still nothing. The fuses look a little corroded but not blown. What should I do now? I was thinking about buying a brand new fuse and trying that but other than that, I don't know what to do. Any ideas?

Check to make sure the terminals are clean and tight on the battery.

Thank you Jessie! Once again I go and over analyze the situation. I'm an idiot sometimes  :icon_rolleyes: Anyway yeah the connection to the terminal was loose. I tightened that sucker up and she started right up. Thanks again  :)
