Shows a little over 7k on the clock. Note the missing high beam indicator lens ;)

The bike was recently repainted by Maaco. I assume it is an acrylic enamel or a single stage urethane. Looks decent whatever it is

The engine looks clean but has some sort of problem(s). The previous owner said it ran poorly after someone put a jet kit in the carbs. The left cylinder only has 120 psi of compression cold while the right has 150 psi so I think that there are issues beyond the carbs.

It does look to have been registered in VA recently

Saweeet!  Happy holidays
Good deal man, it's a good looking bike. I'm currently watching my new It's Always Sunny dvds while the dogs munch on their dinosaur shaped bones. The only one not having a good christmas so far is my sister, who's staying at my parents and swears their dog keeps trying to kill her. hahaha :cookoo:
This is a vid of Xmas 08. Brings a smile to my face. GS500 for a Chrissy present. Ahhhhhhhh.

Thanks guys. It's weird though, you have a great day and get a nice toy, then you find someone else who is having terrible one. I know there is always homeless, less fortunate.... but it's always different when it hits home. I stopped to drop off a present to a friend I hadn't talked to in a few weeks. His brother died of a mass heart attack while shoveling the big snow this week. He was only 42 years old and leaves behid a wife and a 7 year old boy. Makes you realize what really counts in life, not silly presents. Merry Christmas or Happy Whatever to all and remember what really matters in your life, not what you did or didn't get for Christmas this year...

I'll trade you plastics. lol
The previous owner said it sparkles purple and blue in the sunlight- I'll have to wait for the sun to come out to see how it looks.

Sparkles in sunlight? What is it... a Cullen living in Forks?
Anyone else notice the Smiley face on the odometer? Cool :thumb: Even the bikes like being GS's.
