Everyone I run into thinks that my GS500 is a 250cc and they all say:
"gee, a 500cc, but it looks sooooooo small"!!
Does anyone else run into this?
Its hurting my already tiny ego
Stay Safe :thumb:
That decal that says GS500 isn't enough of a give away
Don't feel bad people ask if Anne's z1000 is a 2 stroke :o
Its the "stinger" looking exhausts.
So its "her" Zed now eh?

Relax! Those comments are directed at your bike, not your duck (which is thought to run inverse in proportion to your ride in many bike forums). Now, if people thought the GS looked like 750cc class it would be a tad bit underpowered.
Exellent point Gisser, exellent point!
most people i run into havent even heard of a gs500 so i guess if they at least recognize it then you are doin alright.
Hey thats good, take on a 250, and he'll think he can kick your ass.
BUT when you put all your 500 cubic-centimeters into action, he'll know never to mess with a GS500. :nana:
It'll make you feel better...and improve your ego :)
:thumb: Good Luck
show them up in the canyons...that'll show them.
have someone w/ a 250 race ya, an' smoke the holy piss outta them, a friend of mine had a gix 1000 (stock), removed all of the 1000 decals and replaced them with 750 decals. had the whole town convinced that he had one bad a$$ 750, you could always put gz250 decals on it,
hey i wouldn't care much, coz i know my bike is UNIQUE! i haven't seen a lot of gs in colorado, but i see tons of gxrs, cbrs. i value the uniqueness a lot!
It is good to be different.

You've got a town full of goobers then. The 1Ks forks give it away...
Does anyone know where to get those "static clingy" things as to cover the decal and paint job that otherwise would get scratched-up by bungee cords?
As long as we are on the decal subject....
