Title: Argh! Everyone thinks my GS500 is a 250cc!!!
Post by: on October 15, 2003, 06:02:24 AM
Everyone I run into thinks that my GS500 is a 250cc and they all say:

"gee, a 500cc, but it looks sooooooo small"!!

Does anyone else run into this?

Its hurting my already tiny ego

Stay Safe  :thumb:

That decal that says GS500 isn't enough of a give away

Don't feel bad people ask if Anne's z1000 is a 2 stroke :o

Relax!  Those comments are directed at your bike, not your duck (which is thought to run inverse in proportion to your ride in many bike forums).  Now, if people thought the GS looked like 750cc class it would be a tad bit underpowered.

Hey thats good, take on a 250, and he'll think he can kick your ass.
BUT when you put all your 500 cubic-centimeters into action, he'll know never to mess with a GS500. :nana:

It'll make you feel better...and improve your ego :)

Does anyone know where to get those "static clingy" things as to cover the decal and paint job that otherwise would get scratched-up by bungee cords?
