Just bought a new BMW R1200RT, learned a lot owning my GS, but rather than let it sit, am ready to sell it.
The bike is a 1989 GS, but does not have the clip-ons, they were swapped out by the previous owner before I bought it. Bike is in very good condition mechanically, but has been down, not by me, but there are scrapes & bruises. You know, it was a beginners bike... Bike is all black.
Has 15000 miles on it, I just changed the oil, plugs, re-oiled the K&N, made sure the jets were correct (they had already been changed), added the washers under the needle & put them back together. Tires are almost new, battery was new last year, everything works perfectly. The bike had been very well taken care of mechanically. I just put new mirrors on it as the old ones sagged.
I have a tank bag, tail bag, another oil filter, & a clymer's manual that go with it.
