Title: Air mixture screw question
Post by: rger8 on December 30, 2009, 08:13:37 PM
Typically are both fuel air mixture screws supposed to turned out the same on each carb?  When I took the brass cap out, one was 1 1/2 turns out and the other was all the way in. I turned both out to 2 3/4 turns out.  can they be different?  It really doesn't run any better since I turned them out! Kinda funny :dunno_white:

I did this to richen up the mixture assuming like most bikes they come out running lean from the factory.

Thanks!

Carbs come from the factory with a wide range of settings. None of the 4e on my Bandit were anywhere near the same. I made them the same when i rejet though, its common practice.

I would adjust them the same, to the setting that it runs the best at
