Hello,
This realy sucks, but my forks are covered in oil. The seals are leaking (badly) and the dust seals are all cracked. I didn't notice it when i baught the bike 3 weeks ego. It's a 98 with 1,900 miles and it's leaking! :(
Anyway, it's time for some new fork oil seals (ones that will last more than 1,900miles), dust seals, progresive springs, and a bunch of 10wt oil. The question is... Where do I find all this stuff? the oil seals I found at BikeBarn for $21, the dust seals I CANNOT FIND!!! (please help).
As for the progressive springs... What will fit? (I'm 175 lb. if that helps) Also I gues with the progressives I better swich to 15wt oil... what do you guys say? Did someone run progresives on both 10wt and 15wt and noticed a difference?
Finaly, Where do I look for the 10wt (or 15wt) oil?
I know this is alot of stuff, but I would love your help.

OK since no one has tried replying...
I believe suzuki dust covers are the only choice... I'd try Parts Depot 800 245 3101 ask for Robert. 15 wt oil and fork seals also should be there with them. Progressives as well but someone said they saw them cheaper else where. BTW tell him Srinath sent you and tell him that Cycle depot or the other place in LA had progressives for $47 or some like that and they'll prolly match it. Best of all they are in NJ... you may drive down and pick it up if you find they have it. Second choice is Ron Ayers... Back of any bike rag should have their ad.
Cool.
Srinath.
Thanks, I'll call them in the morning. :thumb:

try a dealer if no luck elsewhere, i got mine cheap, there, plus i get a 20% discount, all of them, plus myself ride together (club), but when i did mine only thing he had in stock was 5w DO NOT USE 5 WEIGHT OIL IN FORKS!!!!! :x Seems like everyone was doin forks at the same time an he was out of 10w and 15w oil, so i got the 5 so i could ride. geeeeez, i could probably fart on the forks and they would compress :( , although 5w seems to make endo's and rollons (i know you dont or wont believe, but it will do em) landings are hard though. will post pics when i get them made :thumb:
