after my wreck, ive got two choices, i can fix miss piggy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AIR6ESG1Hc OR replace teh blown rotary in my rx7, ( or convert to v6 or v8 ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ymglixjtqrg . getting health situated now. except for chronic pain :technical:, anyhoo the body repairs on the cop car and the transplant i can do for around teh same amount. my sister gave me a 93 camry to drive. but that thing, after she hit a guardrail, is not the best shape in the world. and ive got 2 non functional cars. my body issues, would prefer the vic, the rx7 with teh weird seats in it, are uncomfortable to get into or out of. BUT i can sell it and pay off the rest of my auto debt. just have to drive it in th meantime while i repair the other car. anyhoo, thoughts, opinions?
the camry is drivable, drive it , sell / burn for insurance the other two. :)

dont tempt me lol. just cant open hte drivers door all teh way, uncomfortable to use at work. VERY much so, tempted to get teh rx going, can get more out of it
Hehe going to do the v8 swap. now its a choice of the engine out of miss piggy :police:, ( if frame is damaged. if not its getting fixed.) if not, an sbc of some sort, maybe a 305/th400 350/th400 or 350/700r4 :icon_twisted:
I would say use the engine out of the piggy. if not, then through some new apex seals in the rx-7 then always let it fully warm up before shutting it off!

cost of water seals, around 200, apex seals stock around 50 ( times 6 ), plus the cost of 4 injectors ( 90 each) the v8 swap will still be cheaper. eyah it wont be a true rx7 anymore, BUT i still can get more for it when i sell it
Who could resist a Mazda with a cop V-8 in it? Sounds good to me, go for it! :thumb:

it is VERY tempting tbh. teh ford 4.6 wiring, shifting computer, no speed cutoff etc. would make it a FUN ride. BUT ill only do that if the frame is damaged tho. iff not, ill repair it
I have seen several of your generation rx-7s with 351s shoehorned in them. The most unreliable of which was supercharged and put out about 600hp when it was running :icon_lol: :icon_lol:. I would say do the engine swap, sure it will make it front heavy but if you set up the suspension properly you will have a car with a lot more potential than the stock rotary could do without enough to buy 3 ford 4.6s.

as it is it would only be roughly 120 lbs heavier :police:
its got me drooling lol ( with anticipation lol) NOW if i could make it quiet, id be set, as it would be there would only be roughly 3.5-4ft of exhaust pipe behind the headers ( ill be fabbing this up as soon as either the engine arrives, or i pull the 4.6 which i found out has a set of shorty style headers in plance if i could make it quiet.... Could anyone say, "hella sleeper"
