Title: mikuni jet serial number question
Post by: Clancy on January 27, 2010, 12:30:47 AM
Hi guys

was reading on the wikki that the gs needs Mikuni N102/221 Small Round Main Jet 9mm in length with a 6mm Round Head but the mikuni site says to use Mikuni N100.604 Large Round Main Jet
9mm in length with a 8mm Round Head. Which one do i order if any?? My bike is an 2006
Are Mikuni the way to go or will any other brand do..?

Also just to clarafy shold i use Mikuni N224.103 (TMX36) Pilot Jet
27.8mm in length with a 5mm Head
(Description note - Larger 2.5mm bleed tip than VM28/486)

are thses the pilot jets to use?? the wikki says to use them but the gs500 is not listed on the mikuni site for this jet

Is this just a lesson in trusting the wikki
I'm a bit new to this but very keen to learn
Cheers guys
Keep up the good work

Thanks bassmechanix.

Australia - jet pack mailed $27 USD. Add in mids for $35. That is for your setup. So pipe, filter info etc are needed, then I get the right sizes in the pack and off it goes.

Cool.
