hey all you fellow computer geeks and geekettes. just wondering if any of you have taken the A+ certification test recently and can give me any pointers or some type of idea what I can expect. Hoping to get my scheduled within the next few months. Thanks in advance.
Never did A+, N+
Yea, been a software engineer for 18 years, never heard of it.
Cool.
Buddha.
I took it about 10 years ago.. at that time it had 2 parts Hardware and software.. Thats about all I remember. Other than to fill a job requirement I found it useless. mine expired years ago.
I believe scottpA_GS is correct, there are two parts hardware and software. I have had friends take it but i never have myself. I believe they may have changed the test a little to deprecate some of the older technologies that will never be used again but not all. Basically if you are good at memorization and already have a working knowledge of computer technologies you should be alright.
Yea, buddha remember everything - CPU = Communist Party of Uganda.
