Title: Twin Headlights?
Post by: RubenAlonzo on February 03, 2010, 06:24:28 AM
Hello Everyone, hopefully soon here next week I will have my own GS500E, I was wondering if there was a way to convert the single headlight to a dual headlight setup or if anyone has done this via kit form or home made fabrication of a bracket they made?

I bet a twin headlight setup would look so nice on GS500E.

Thank you in advance.

people have done it before.  You can look on the wiki.  I think Dominators may be the most common but they don't have a high beam and people will wire them so that one is on as low beam and then have a high beam setup that turns on both lights.  Best bet would be to find something you like then fabricate a bracket to hold them.  The wiring from there should be simple.

www.FlynCycle.com & www.Aztec8.com sell the Dominators. I have bought from both. I like the set from Flyncycle better, they use an H4 plug. But I think Aztec8 changed their connection method. Aztec8 also has larger duals as well.

They do have low & high beams and use the typical 55/60 H4 bulbs.

I have some dominator dials on the way. I'll post pics when they arrive
