Has anyone made their own carb syncing tool, I read on another forum a guy said he made one himself for about 10 bucks, but I didnt feel like signing up for that forum just to ask him how he did it.  By the way it on http://www.starbikeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1051&highlight=jets

use red-dyed seafoam, so when (and you will !) you suck it into the engine, it will just smoke a little and not kill it.

;)

there is a yard-stick + tubing method, works ok for me. don't get too caught up in sync and adjusting and mess. it all changes as your valves need adjusting, or the air temp drops, or your plugs fowl, etc.

just ride it :)

none of that would throw the carbs out of sync though, you still want them as close to balanced as you can

I made one like that years ago for my Ducati, I used 2-stroke oil so it wouldn't hurt the engine if sucked in, and the oil damped the motion a bit so it was easier to use. Worked well.
