Title: rejet done
Post by: johnny ro on February 14, 2010, 03:48:06 PM
took several hours scattered across 2 months of winter weekends.

Worst hang up, understanding tank petcock. It seems its off-on-off as you go from one side to middle to other side with the screwdriver. Also gas lines are weird, the idea they are not same size on both ends is bad idea. And too short.

Proud that my eyeball balance on bench was correct within 1/8 turn of screwdriver when hooked up to gages.

Next step, forks. Sonic springs and 15 wt oil.

Eyeball is more accurate, 1/8 turn after guages may mean one cyl pulling more vacuum than other.
Cool.

I as well was wondering about the tank petcock..what's up with that craziness?
Also, on which line is it that the line is smaller on one end? What year bike do you have?
