Title: headlamp bulb replacement
Post by: bertman4 on February 18, 2010, 11:11:59 AM
So last night when I turned on my 2002 GS500, the low beam filament burnt out. I rode home with the hi beams. I'm wondering how much a replacement bulb costs. And if there is a choice of bulbs, whether or not I should upgrade to a HID bulb. Thanks for any information.

I drive with my highs on all the time no matter what.  I say drive til that goes out, then get a Silverstar or something similar.  HID for a GS500 is like whore wearing Armani - it costs a lot and looks good but underneath it is still the same, lol.

I rate my Philips Xtreme Vision bulbs the 2nd best upgrade I have ever done to my GS behind replacing the front fork springs  :thumb:
