Title: Throttle Problem and late Rev problem
Post by: MajorMalphunction on February 20, 2010, 08:15:40 PM
I noticed that when I sit on my bike and turn my handle bars to the right, the bike accelerates hard. I guess is that the throttle cable is being pulled or pinched in some way. Also, after I ride my bike for a while, it starts to rev high. And ideas there? Thanks!

Now that I think about it, I know what you're talking about. Kinda like that video I found on the main page: http://gstwin.com/adjust_the_clutch_lever.htm

I had same thing after I put GenMar Risers on 10 years ago.  Turning bars to right lock raced the engine.  Problem was the choke cable not the throttle cable.  Choke cable was routed around the front of left fork leg causing it to pull the enrichers open.  Had to run it behind the fork leg.
