While on a pre-ride for a ride I will be leading in a few weeks, two Willy Wagtails were on the road. They took off. One flew to the right. The other must have had a brain explosions or something. Cause he thought he'd go me. So into my chest he goes while I'm doing a 100kph. I looked down and couldn't see him. It wasn't until I reviewed the video footage that I saw my reflection in the gauges - he bounces off over my left shoulder.
Six of us on the ride. Including another GS500. An F though.
Here's a vid of some of the twisties, overtaking, steep decent and bird strike. Enjoy

Bird is around 7:55 Took me a while to find it. :D
Looks like a fun ride. It's a heck of a lot more interesting than anything around me.
i didn't even notice the bird really the first time. i noticed the text fly across the screen, and then bam there it went. had to rewind and see again. hehehe.
excellent riding man! weather is finally getting warmer now. yay!
cheers,

Well, we did around 300 clicks for the day. BIrd is just after the text. And that is half speed!
The town you see at the start is around 50 km away. And the ride there is quite picturesque but not so much fun. So we rode there, had some morning tea, then hit the more fun parts.
When I pass the caravan I stay on the other side of the road so those following me can see it's still ok to pass if they want to.
I'd imagine Michigan has some lovely places to ride. Then again, I suppose it depends where abouts in the state you are.
