Anyone have advice on removing the bearings from a swing arm? I got one out with a pry bar and a hammer. That method really buggered up the other bearing. I tried using a seal puller, heating the swing arm with a torch and splitting the bearing remains with a chisel to no avail. Would love to find a better method >:(

big drift and a hammer or a pipe to catch the edge of the brg and then wack the sh!t out of it
Clymer mentions two special tools that go with a slide hammer to grab the inside (destroying it) and a third tool for putting them in.

If all else fails (and I mean ALL ELSE) as a last resort try trashing the entire bearing until all that is left is the outer race. Then fire up the trusty air chisel and cut a line across the race perpendicular to the swingarm. Either the race will fall right out or you can peel it out like a sardine can. I had to do this once on an aluminum trx250r swingarm. Somehow I managed not to cut the aluminum at all. To this day I have no idea how I did that.
Braize or gas-weld a length of 10mm square keysteel or similar to the inside of the race across its diameter. Then you can squarely drift against it and knock the race out from the other side.
