So I'm riding home from work in the rain today. Bummer. A mile and a half from my house (which is 48 miles from work) traffic came to a sudden stop. Knowing that stopping distance is GREATLY reduced I was giving myself plenty of room, I thought. So I apply the brakes and start downshifting. Back tire locks up and I'm sliding. I try to let off the back brakes a little but I have to STOP! I got it a bit sideways and had to put my left foot down to keep the bike up. I managed not to drop the bike. I didn't hit the Porsche Cayenne in front of me. Hooray for me! It was a bit of a heart pounder there for a second. And to top it all off my mother just happened to be the car directly behind me!!
Moral of the story: Give yourself WAAAAAY more room than you THINK you need in the rain!
LOL thank god u didnt hit that porsche and GOOD WORK For keeping the bike up! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Jesus is with u
