This is an ad for the BMW S 1000 RR. Probably fake, or at least rigged slightly, but it's fun to watch! :thumb:

The asymmetric styling of that bike is growing on me. And that is one hell of a price for a REAL super bike!

Haha, I still agree with my statement in general, but that bike kinda made me eat my words. It looks like an awesome bike, and I can't believe the price actually compares to japanese bikes. That bike is going to be a jumping off point for some massive HP bikes from japanese manufactures though. European bikes have always been known for handling and styling while Japanese bikes have been known for their output numbers, and I think BMW kinda crossed over the line with this bike and it's gonna push the japanese manufactures to put out some crazy bikes to compete with it. I personally prefer light weight to massive power, but I'll take what I can get.
On the downside, I wish BMW hadn't raped the last generation cbr1000rr and Aprilia as far as styling goes. I'd have a lot more respect for the bike if it had it's own styling, but I guess they had to cut corners somewhere to keep the cost down.
As far as the video, I wouldn't be surprised if it was fake, but I've seen it enough times to lean towards it being real. I think a smooth table surface and a slick table cloth and they could pull it off.
Either way, for $14k there are other bikes I'd rather have, HP or not.
Fook me, I want the S1000RR in the worst way, got to run one for about 30 miles of twisties, when you put it in race mode it is an absolute beast. My 954 is a corner carving badass and the BMW makes it feel insignifigant.
i like the bike too
