Selling my 2005 GS 500 F with < 1500 miles, asking $2250 obo. Bike is black with silver and red, completely stock and unmolested. Clean Ohio title, first owner, new battery last year. I am located in Carteret, NJ. I purchased the bike from a dealer in MD in 2006 as left over stock, and up until Nov was garage kept and hardly ridden. I move around a lot for work and dont have much time to ride. Now that I no longer have a garage, I think it's time to move on. I have not tried to start this season yet, but did sta-bil the tank. I will try and start it this week weather permitting. Since Mid Nov, it has been parked outside with a cover on it. Chain looks like it picked up some rust, but may just need lubricated. The bike doesnt have any road rash, but it did slowly fall in the garage once, slight mark on the case, you can see below. If you would like additional info or pictures you can email me at-
THIS IS A STEAL!!! somebody buy this
Bump.
It is a steal. I posted on here first hoping that it would go to a good home. Craigslist this weekend and ebay after that if I have to.
I really want to buy this for my first bike but I won't get my license for a month and I'm up in CT, 102 miles away.
PSHHHHH I drove 250 miles to get my bike, I didn't have a license. Do you know anyone with a truck? Or anyone with a suv with a tow package, you can always rent a uhaul small trailer for $20 a day. This is definitely worth that drive.
I bought this before I had a license. Drove 5 hrs to pick it up and drove it back in a pick up truck. Let me know if you want to make arrangements. :thumb:
Yeah, I'm sending you an email.
Sale is pending with berr0180- I was an idiot and lost the title, working on a duplicate now. Thanks for your patience.
Back on the market. Buyer lost funding while I was waiting on the title. I now have the title in hand and I'm ready to sell.
Please don't send me low ball offers, if you compare my asking price to other bike on this site I think you would agree that it is more than a fair deal. I would like to sell the bike, but I'm not desperate.
As an update, I have started the bike a few times and put maybe 3 miles on to make sure everything is working properly. Starts right up, runs great, gearbox, brakes and tires are all in good condition. This bike has very low miles and I never tracked it or pushed it's limits.
If your interested email me anytime and I would be glad to answer any questions or set up a showing. I dont check this site daily, so email is the best route. Thanks- John :thumb:

Why on earth is this not sold yet? (free bump)
I am currently filtering through a long list of people that contacted me about my craigslist add. Apparently most people don't really want to buy a bike, they are just bored and want to come by and ask you a bunch of questions, or email you 50 times and never show. So I just replied to about 12 people to see if they want to come by some time this weekend and look at it.
Oh and lets not forget the people that want to send you some extreme low ball offer because their brothers, sisters cousin will sell them a 89 ninja 500 for cheaper, or the guy trying to trade some camaro wheels....gotta love craigslist. I wish a gstwin'er would have bought it.
Wow great deal. I picked up my 07 on Craigslist for a steal. Keep punching away at the people interested and you'll get your offer. Most people say they can get *place bike of choice here* and throw out a low offer. Typically those people have not did their homework. Good luck!
SOLD! Thanks random guy with cash in hand. :thumb:
Congrats! Was it CL or GStwins guy?
It was a CL guy that buys bikes for dealers, rolled over with cash in hand and loaded it up.
