Title: Cleaning marks from around ignition
Post by: CanadianRider on March 23, 2010, 02:46:21 PM
My keys have put a heap of black marks on the grey surface around the ignition.  They're almost impossible to remove - any tips or tricks people can recommend?
Thanks.

Also, take the key chain off of your GS key to save yourself from future headaches

+1

My bike key rides along in the ignition for this very reason. While my other keys ride in whatever luggage I am carrying. Occasionally, but extremely rarely, my jacket pocket.

I have my Guinness keychain, USB drive, house keys, storage unit keys, work keys, Jeep keys, and a pocket screwdriver that all are connected on the same keychain.  But my bike key remains solo.  The reason I say all of that junk is cause i know people who use their car keys plus all that crap in their bike ignition.  Blows my mind and looks goofy as hell too.

One key only.
