Title: Murdered out pics
Post by: Focer on April 07, 2010, 07:29:26 AM
Lets see your all blacked out, murdered out GS! I am rebuilding an 89 and am stoked on doing it all black. I was goin to by my wife a brand new Harley 883R Iorn but decided to pay off a big credit card. As soon as I payed it off, bam a deal on a gs on CL! Im actually quite glad we ended up with this bike. It will be an easyer bike for her to learn on and Ive always missed my 02. However I want to go with the same theme as that Iron

here is a pic of the 883 Iron

Mine isn't murdered out, but the tail and tail were spray painted flat black. I'll see if I can find any pictures when I get home. Did you try browsing through the gallery? Do we even have a gallery now that the forum changed servers??

That will be my next bike. I've already started a coin jar for it.

Hopefully it takes you long enough to save so you can browse around and find a better japanese version in flat black!

well, at least it -looks- cheap.

some things look cool in flat-black. some just look cheap. like a dodge neon for example.

congrats on the gs !

Haha, that looks awesome. I don't really like bobbers, but it still looks like fun, aside from the fact that the exhaust looks like it's going to fall off.

nah, exhaust is fine, i like how they made the heat wrap look like its decaying to match the paint scheme. (if they did that on purpose haha)

Pink sprocket="lifed out" inspires me of Easter and the heavenly resurrection

Lifted out?? Zombie movies remind me of easter.

Heather picked it out because it was pink, but it doesn't bug me. It's a 47t too, so it's pretty giant.

I hate wide ass tails off sport bikes on GS'es, I hate flat black ... but that seamax's bike is pretty nice.
It garners attention for neing flat black and you get the idea something is not what it appears to be, but nothing more. Hats off to you seamax.
Cool.

Still working on blacking out my Frankenstein of a GS500 (1990 Frame, early-mid 90's engine, '01 plastics and seat, '06 Tank, '07 petcock, and god only knows what the rest is) but here it is so far:
