Title: 18T front sprocket
Post by: SAFE-T on April 20, 2010, 07:39:27 AM
Anyone ever put an 18-tooth front sprocket on their GS500 ? I see lots of people trying 17tooth and 15tooth variations.

From my understanding of the way it all works 18T may as well ride a scooter.

An 18t might be physically too big and foul against the clutch push-rod.

Ok - no worries - I see that qwertydude put one on his bike without any issues and all he got for his trouble was a measly 74 mpg.
