The worst thing I can imagine doing is wiring. I cant stand it but I need to redo the front end with new wires. I've set up a little workshop in my garage with all the tools i need.
I recently took my bike to get a major service done (yes I'm happy to pay) and they installed a flasher relay thingy to make my LED indicators flash normally. In doing so they said "we had to sacrifice the high beam/indicator lights on the dash because of the bad wiring". So now I'm stuck with a wiring diagram from god knows what year, but on the + side i got the highbeam light working. Only problem now is the indicator light, when I plug everything in and turn the indicators on they flash like hazard lights, when i unplug them from the dash they flash normally >:( >:(
What am I doing wrong/how can i fix this, I'm so lost right now. Bike is an 07-F model
Thanks any help guys. :dunno_white:
To get the indicator light working you will need a diode like this!

Going all LED was the biggest PITA I ever encountered on this bike. I went to the gixxer mirrors and was glad to take all that krap out because I went through indicator lights like candy.
Good luck!

I've got that and it works fine, my problem is not having the indicator light on the dash. It wont work when I have a relay/diode (whatever it is) pluged in. Something that would help is a wiring diagram but i've been trolling the forums, the wiki and downloaded the repair manual but still no luck. If anyone has one for an 07 model post a link please!
I could rebuild my Jeep in a weekend but if I have to wire anything, I hate it!
Last night I started wiring for these same reasons and I am so pissed becuase I really don't know what I am doing, lol. I will figure it out, but it is crappy trying to figure it all out.
Good luck.
I know how you feel aye, I could pull my bug apart and put it back together but wiring.... :2guns:  :dunno_black:. Lol
Im going to look into adding a left turn indicator into the dash, I THINK that may solve my problem.

Maybe this will help:

Cut the wires where the red line is, or disconnect in the headlight bucket (I think that's where the connections are). Install the diode referenced by Mary, as indicated.
Well i got the headlight working, but i've already put the bike back together with new wires. Wish I had read this before . Not to worry, next time I have the tank off I'll do that, thanks for all the help guys! :D
I wired mine in under the buckets. Only had to take out six bolts for that. Flip it over remove the light solder in diode viola! Just be careful if you take the tach cables off I screwed one in just a little too tight stripped it and had to buy a new tach! :2guns:

Yeah, i broke two of the screws last year. I think its time I buy another KOSO rx2n, another $360..... lol
