So.. I'm riding almost 100 miles a day to and from work.. :cookoo: and a lot of it is 75+mph on the freeway.. and it is windy (crosswind, headwind, etc.) Needless to say I spend a lot of time laying on the tank.. and hopefully I will be finding work closer to home soon. :dunno_black:
Anyway, to get to the point.. Do they make mirrors I can attach somewhere lower and more forward so that I can see what is going on behind me without having to sit up to look in my "normal riding position" mirror? It would be nice to have 4 mirrors.. two "regular" mirrors and two "crouching" mirrors.. Any thoughts, suggestions, links, tips, tricks, would be greatly appreciated!
I have mine pointed down and in; I can still see sky in the upper third when I'm sitting up, but my blindspots are larger.
I guess you could get a set of bar end mirrors in addition to the stock ones.
You might get some ideas here:

I used to angle one of my mirrors so I could see behind me when I was sitting up, and one so I could see behind me when I was crouching down. If your mirrors are really high and you can't see them regardless then that won't help. I'd also vote for trying bar end mirrors.
Some bar end Mirrors should do the trick. These are Shin-Yo Mirrors, roughly 18€ a pair. I think they are cheaper on eBay.

You could get a couple of those blind spot mirrors and mount them on something on the inside of the handlebars.
on mine, I had round mirrors in the stock position, and installed convex mirrors on them. could see great in a full tuck, as well as any position
I'm 6' 1" .. so when I'm laying on the tank I can't even see any part of my normal mirror.. (and this actually saves me between 5-10 mpg!) I was think of trying to mount something on the fork clamps or front blinkers type area.. something low and close and just get the correct angle to still see behind me.. I dunno... I still need a left side mirror before I even figure out something like that. I didn't realize bike bandit had cheapy round mirrors for $11 until AFTER I ordered my clutch cable.. and I don't want to pay the $8 shipping twice. Plus i like the off-brand "stock" looking ones they have for $15.. so I might just try to order a pair of those when I order my new oil pan. I wish I could afford the "skull" mirrors they have.. freaking SWEET. ($150 a piece!)
