Does anyone know if Srinath is still around? I don't remember his exact user name and I'd like to PM him!
Oh, and hello from a GSTwins old-timer! I used to be a regular around here, but have since let other things in life swallow my free time. Still have the GS, though!
-Dan
He's still around. Goes by the name of The Buddha now. Must have been hiding from the mob or something. Since he got a new job, his post rate has gone way down.

yup we gotta have a turd around the house Eh?
Seems a lot of the old timers have now become lurkers...
Including the infamous pastrami. howve you been. and aj? hows she doing?
Lurkers! - Lurkers? - is that some sort of euphamism.........?....
*lurk, lurk*
Haha no not a euphemism. AJ and I are well. Planning something big for a few months from now. We're both very busy but very happy. :thumb: How have all you old timers been?
Ehhhh multiple things been rough on the home front. but my faith keeps me going. BTW is the chat room still running?
Nope, chatroom is gone. I was hoping the boards would have a chat by now but no such luck! I've changed jobs (longer commute more hours) so I haven't had a lot of time to play on the net.
check out www.motorbicycling.com it has a chat box at top of screen. works pretty good imho
I'm on a few other boards that have a chat that works awesome. In all reality we barely have time to ride let alone chat in a chatroom. Just wanted to check in and see how everyone was.

i hear ya.
Yea yea ... well unemployed now ... and broke as hell.
Been working some menial job that eats all my time.
If I get back to the desk grind I'll post more.
But well, still around and busier than a 1 legged man in an ass kicking contest.
Anyway welcome back turd.
No mob, wife pushed me to change my name cos well, we broke a lease from our TX move and she was afraid we'll have someone follow us on the net. That was 2 years ago, and I am still buddha and still on the lam. So I guess the change worked ... >:(
Cool.
Buddha.
So many familiar faces, I guess that does not really apply on the web. You get my drift. Anyone notice how the older you get the less time you have to ride? I'm a lurker as long as the site is around.
I am no longer able to ride. so im going to be *perma-lurking*

+1 to everything you said
I feel like such a loser for my lack of riding commitment the last couple years. I haven't even fired up the GS yet this spring >:(
*lurking*
I am not lurking, when I get to the computer I am here and posting ... sadly that has been minimal, though in a few weeks it could improve drastically.
Cool.
Buddha.
wow this thread is full of everyone that was a frequent when I joined but since the GS is gone I dont come around anymore. most of my free time is spent on my 73 cougar XR-7 and my Supercharged T-bird SC, Still ride my dads V-star once in a blue moon but since I broke my leg a few months back I can hold the weight of the bike too well. well so what has everyone been upto who is still around that i know?
Well, I graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2008 and got a job as a product rep. in Baton Rouge. Sold the GS and bought a Bandit 600 which I hardly ever ride due to work. :( Working on a trip up to Deal Gap here soon tho. :)
-Ash
Graduated from University of Texas at Austin in '09. Now I'm stuck in grad school at Texas A&M for another year or so. Brought my motorcycle along, hoping to ride it to places around town, but I never go anywhere. The motorcycle was ridden three or four times at most over the last two semesters (rode it over the summer, but that's it). The DR-Z is back with my parents until I get around to cleaning the fuel lines, carbs, etc, and selling it. I race bicycles now, and will get back into motorcycles once I have a more stable living situation.
*Lurk* Wow, here's everyone I used to talk to! Haha, I haven't been on here in ages. I'm fixing up the GS to sell to a friend - idling issues that turned out to be rust-clogged pilot jets. Been riding the Monster 695 a lot, and also autocrossing a bit. Still working on the PhD, still hanging out in the SF area. Like Dan said, I've let other things swallow up my free time. Anyway, hope you guys are all doing well!
Ahh, guess I have to chime in and say hi to all the lurking old timers as well.. its been a long time =)

Whaaaa ... the good name of the srinath is being dragged through the mud ... just kidding scott_pa_gs. You doing good ?
