Title: Mystery Bike
Post by: BaltimoreGS on May 02, 2010, 06:44:56 PM
A neighbor down the road from me deals in scrap metal.  I call him Junkman Bill.  I let him use part of my property for short term storage since I'm rarely up there.  I never know what I'll find when I'm up there.  This time there was a junk trailer with even more junk on top of it.  In the pile of junk was an old Honda motorcycle.  The build date on it was '83 so I assume it was an '83 or '84 model year.  It is an air cooled 4 cylinder with shaft drive and a cool little oil cooler that runs through the frame.  The engine is seized and overall the bike is in poor condition.  I did rob the Kirker exhaust and some random body pieces off it since it will soon be scrapped anyway.  Maybe one day I'll find a GS in one of Bill's scrap piles   :D

The gauges are so weathered I couldn't read how many miles were on the odometer

Jessie,

If you want a bike to work on that you can use the parts off of the bike from Junkman Bill try this:
