Title: Rubbin it in
Post by: mrblink on October 21, 2003, 03:01:32 PM
I just wanted to say that I had to wear my Joe Rocket Phoenix jacket today, due to the 90+ degree weather in San Diego.  I feel bad for all you people stuck in cold ass weather.  That's it.  Just rubbing in the fact that we have to pay way too much for houses out here...

not so much for him in San Diego. But dont feel bad. By next week it should be freezing again, just in time for halloween (always is).  then first 2 weeks of Nov. will be blazing hot again. then freezing cold again for Thanksgiving all the way through to the rainy season (all three weeks) in january.

three weeks? three weeks of rain isn't a season.  three weeks of rain is what we here in Seattle call 'June'

Haha thats great. Rochester has some screwed up weather. We dont really have a fall or spring. It just goes Summer, winter, summer, winter, some times winter gives summer a miss and goes straight back into winter.

Oh well, RAIN RIDING PRACTICE!!!!! I knew freezing my butt off on the snowmobile was worth something, this isnt cold at all!

85+ tomorrow also. Next week lows in the 30's. We only get 2 weeks of nice weather each season. Unless interupted by a Hurricane.

summer: heavy afternoon thunderstorms everyday after 2pm just like a swiss watch, highs in the mid 90's, 100% humidity, flash flooding

fall: warm, less rain, a few hurricanes nd tropical storms, best weather of the year

winter: replace heavy rain w/ constant drizzle nd overcast 5 days of the week, sunny and round 45 other 2(those 2 r always week days)

spring: lasts about week nd a 1/2 then back to summer weather

All you ever wanted to kno about weather in the south. No charge

Ok I can't resist anymore!  I am here in Brisbane located in the Sth East quarter of Queensland Australia.  The temp will vary between 18C and 28C today, its getting warmer as summer rolls in and we will see some high 30C days, but then again winter is when it drops to a mere max of about 20C --- the reason we are known as the Sunny State     My only bugger is it is three days till the weekend and watching perfect days roll by from in the office "just don't seem right"

Cheers

Crime and smog in SD is not bad at all, but maybe I am just used to it ;)
but traffic is bad

wouldn't live anywhere else(well at least w/o a beach), except maybe another county like.........Austrailia,  New Zeland,

and can't beat the weatehr 60-85 all year round
damn I miss it, San Luis Obispo has weird weather, cold at night/morning hot all day

Back when I first started riding, I was so poor, I had to wrap barbed wire around my bare feet so I could get traction a stop lights when the blizzards hit.

Yea yea yea...
Love riding in the cold... Love jetting bikes in the cold... why ... cos it works best... hate rain... Hate hot weather, hate humidity... The last 5 months were hell in NC atleast for me... But beats 45 miles in gridlock/lane split everyday...  :nana: ... SFO/LA. But love SD and Sac... Except in Summer... However... 2723 sqft + 2 car garage with no neighbors across or back... 140K brand new... makes it all easier to forget... Just lets elect "The Rock" and we'll kick CA's old man Governors ass...
Cool.
