Post by: JnT4Life on May 06, 2010, 02:23:29 PM
Has anyone tried this oil filter?

crap man, that's expensive ! all it needs to do is catch some of the bits from your clutch and such. the cheapo fram filters are fine. and cheap oil. ride and smile. :)

Yeah the gs has just a filter ring that's caped by the cover. No canister or anything.

i thought, no matter what year, the motor still ran a filter element? not a canister filter?  i have no clue but i just use kn-133 oil filters.

I use K&N oil filters in my cars and in my motorcycle. Its also the only brand we use at INTENSE Racing (my day job) because they have the highest burst and collapse strength.

P.S. fram is the worst, I have personally seen 4 collapsed fram filters on stock to highly modified vehicles. I've also seen one purolator filter collapse.
