 to you guys
Mary
it doesnt matter how many aftermarket stickers you put on it, its still a GS500F haha
I said nothing about the stickers or it not being a gs500 it has new white rims with a 150 rear tire.
Although some people do that and call their bike a gs500R. Whatever that is.
But, thanks for the positive coments because your bike is sooo much better :thumb:
Mary
WOW! I so love the white better. I am sooooo glad you put them on asap! Please go and ride as I am now jealous cause mine still doesn't move.
Do you like the tires BTW?
So happy :thumb:
I'm absolutely in love with it! That back tire really sticks. Corners are fun again.
BTW :kiss3:
Mary
Yes, that rear tire is grabby. But as you can see, there are chicken strips, lol. That will change on my Metzelers.
We need to know; are you happy riding again????? :woohoo:

They used to look great! I used to love the more spaced out tread design, but lately I've really been liking the more blocked off look on yours. I wish I had bought better tires for mine. I ordered some cheap ones when I was just going to sell the bike and wanted new tires on it. Now that I'm actually riding it I'm not sure how much I trust them yet, and corners aren't quite when I remember them. I'm getting closer to the edges though.
Wow, I never really liked white wheels- but they really tie everything together well. I especially like the matching chain guard.

Thanks guys! The chain guard is painted with valspar rattlecan from Lowes. Is a very close match wish it was close enough to cover the scratches on my front cowl and side fairing. Freaking inconsiderate neighbors!
Slow but sure Flick is coming together. I got some new rear turn signals going back to incandescent from LED. Tired of replacing indicator lamps every few weeks.
ahh, one day there will be an exhaust and rejet. August will be three years since I have had the bike and I'm falling in love with him all over again. Amazing the difference from a 16,000 mile tire vs a barely used tire :woohoo:
Mary
Changing lamps every few weeks? Hmmm....I can see how this can get annoying. What exhaust are you going to go for?

Not sure was thinking of doing a slip on. But, whatever comes along at a good price.
Mary
Great looking bike!....my 19yo son is envious...especially since he just tore his up.
Would you, by chance, be interested in parting with your original front wheel?
Sure! Send me a PM and we will talk!
Mary
PM sent......Thanks
