I just had to post here because this site is an EXTREMELY useful source of info for the otherwise barren internet landscape for us GS500 riders.
Thank you all for your posts. It's amazing how supportive this forum is with all the individual questions you guys get from 10,000 posts about jetting to another 1,000,000 posts about everything else. I finally had to just set up an account so that I can join this community.
I myself have an 04 GS500f and I've been searching the internet for quite some time to mod out my bike. Thanks to all of you I can finally do the following things:
- Jardine Full exhaust
- K&N lunchbox filter
- Rejet my carbs with the new upgrades
- Flushmount turn signals
- integrated rear tail light, fenderectomy, reflecterectomy
I was gonna ditch the 500f for a CBR600RR but I think i'd rather keep my GS now thanks to GStwins.

Ansd the fist thing you can share with us is a pic of your bike.

you should also do ignition advance, its easy, free (if you have a drill) and will give a few more ponies.
These damn bikes create loyal owners so be ware. That CBR will not happen as long as you have a GS, lol. They are too fun to ride and change.
And of course, welcome.
Hmm.... well if you come across any other cbrs you don't want, I'll take them off your hands. I like the GS, but I'm not opposed to something bigger. :D
