Title: drag bike anybody?
Post by: jeremy_nash on May 07, 2010, 09:11:42 PM
was at dragstrip racing this Thursday and got some pics of a pretty nice drag-only setup gs500.  I raced him on nearly every run, he was running 14.8' then he started having problems catching second gear, and was running about same as me then, which was 15.2's.  will post up some timeslips tomorrow

Just for fun I geared my bike -2+8 and I still had to force my front wheel to come off the ground. If he did it just for the project then that's cool, otherwise he's just fooling himself.

it had extended swingarm, 48 tooth rear, and gsxr wheel with a 160 tire, iirc. when he bought it, he just lowered it and put the cowl on it.  it is very consistent, 14.8
