Post by: 2ride4life7 on October 22, 2003, 06:28:23 AM
I just got some mini arrow indicators and look really good :)  i think the stock ones are like wings (good for wheelies i guess  ) i will try and get some pictures of them. What does every one else think of having minis

I have mini's and I like how they look, however it would probably be safer and more visible to have something bigger.

Mine are similar to the pic above except they are clear plastic with amber bulbs, and oval, not pointy.

P.S. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the mini's are illegal.  I doubt they would pull you over just for that but if you get pulled over for something else they would probably just give you a fix-it ticket for the mini-stalks.  I kept my stock ones just in case...

You are right though, the stock ones are so big!  Like big ole ears!

i think i have those on the back of my bike....if not the same ones, something very similar (i can tell from the very fake "carbon-trim" on the backs of them....) they were there when i bought the bike...

They look almost the same as the ones I have, only mine does have even smaller stalks. I had to fit 21 W bulbs in them to keep the blink-frenquency the same, standard bulb was 10 W. Now I have 2 extremely bright turnsignals. (It hurts when you look in them)

BTW. I wasn't planning on changing the signals, but on Holiday in France I took too much groceries with me in the sidebag. When my brother got on the back, 1 of the turnsignals popped of :P
