So now that I've gotten a couple weeks of riding in I'm hoping to find some other people in the area that might want to do some riding. I found out that Jeremy Jock is new to the area, and I know some other people on here are in the general area. Let me know if you're up for some Saturday or Sunday rides.
I used to move at a pretty good pace, but this spring is my first time riding again in about 4 years, and I've only gotten 350 miles in so far, and I'm still cruising around at a pretty soft pace, so it'd definitely good a good ride for anyone else who's not too comfortable trying to keep up with a group of faster riders. I also have a clean driving record since I haven't really ridden in 4 years, and I'm hoping to keep it that way!
I live in Bloomfield now, right in the center of the city. I grew up north of the city, so those are the roads I usually head for, but I'm fine with heading in any direction. Once we find some people we can move these to the "meet and greet" forum, but I know that nobody just hangs out on that forum, so I figured I better start here.
This might fit better in the "meet and greet" section :-P

Yep, I figured in general it would, but I also knew that no one just browsed the meet&greet section, so as I assumed would happen if it was here, no one has posted in it because no one's probably seen it.
Oh well.
Yeah I'm in the Irwin area just got my 2007 about a month ago and have put just shy of 500 miles on it and it is my first bike I've ever had. Love to get some riding in sometime with somebody in the area.
I'm still around! I still have the GS but I picked up a new bike in June and am probably gonna sell the GS when spring rolls around. I'm still up for a ride if you ever get tired of riding by yourself whether you wanna ride around some back roads or just want to hang out at a bike night or something. I live in Bloomfield. I'm not completely sure where Irwin is, but I'll go google it and see where you're at.
Edit: wow you're out there. On a side note, I heard there's a good bike night in Mckeesport on sunday nights at some restaurant with "Boston" in the title, right by the Boston bridge.
Will have to catch the Little Boston thing in Mckeesport thanks for the heads up on that.
I'm gonna try to hook up with an ole friend that rides a Harley 1100, just thought it'd be cool to ride with a GS rider. If I can't I'll prolly buzz you.
I too will prolly be selling the GS next year too.

Hmm, living in the north hills, it's a bit of a drive to McKeesport but I'm interested to see if they still have bike nights.
