I am in need of the plastic tube that goes on the handlebar, under the grip, and hooks to the throttle cable to turn the butterflys in the carbs. Previous owner broke this and used some sort of epoxy to put it back together. Testing the bike tonight and the damn thing came off in my hand!

would be a good time to switch to a sv650 throttle tube, quickens up the throttle, from 1/4 turn to roughly 1/5 turn
If you're just gonna toss out the old one I'll send you a couple dollars to mail it to me. I need an inch or two of throttle tube so I can fit full sizes grips on the moped. I feel like a gorilla trying to squeeze 4 fingers on those tiny little things.

UTman - a faster opening throttle will only exacerbate your slide problem. Which BTW is on its way as soon as the postal service deems fit.

I was planning on replacing it with a stock GS tube, so no worries there! Just need to find one now. Thanks for sending those, I'm sure you'll be hearing from me with questions as carbs are a mystery to me!
I have a stock throttle body i can send you. I changed over the sv throttle and now just have the stock one sitting in a box in my garage. Send me a pm and we can figure out the details.
