Can you still start it? *
Do you still have the rest of the key?

Locksmiths are your friend.  :thumb: Call around your area.

I broke mine a few years ago, local locksmith + $45.00 and about 30 minutes (mostly jaw-jacking) to get broken bit out and make me 2 new keys, both of which work in everything on the bike that needs a key.

* (They charge extra to come to you than if you can go to their shop.)

I second that, my local locksmith charged me $20 to make me a set of keys for my ninja, and he had to start from scratch, as I lost the original key while driving down the road.

Hmmm... Ill have to look into that. It does still start, i just use a coin or a screwdriver but it always looks a little sketchy. The main problem is that i have to keep the gas cap open all the time since i cant lock it down. One day, i took the while ignition apart, i spent literally like 6 hours trying to get the key piece out, finally i quit and put everything back together only to realize that it was in the "ON" position and thus would have never come out!!! I was soo frustrated ive never tried again. Ill look into a lock smith though. But still, if anyone has these items for sale, i am very interested!!!
