Title: Crankshaft 89 -2007?

Is the crankshaft the same for the GS in all year models or have there been any changes made?

The GS crank hasn't changed since 1981.

Dunno  :dunno_black: Looks OK from here, cant see anything obvious, but I would be checking the journals with a mic` and making sure they are within tolerance. Getting it in the vee-blocks and checking it for runout with a DTI would be a good idea too. Whats its history? Maybe getting a machine shop to check it out would be money well spent  :thumb:
