Proper year for the swap.
3-way adjustability, rebound, pre-load (forgot the other one)
Shipping from NC.
I'll sell for $45 plus shipping.
The first person that asks me to go lower - I'm turning it into a desk lamp. Go to ebay, if you wanna haggle.

You can't haggle on ebay :cookoo:
I can however give my recommendation of Homer as a good seller. I bought some boots off of him and am very pleased, plus they got here in a day. He hasn't been here super long so I figured I'd throw that out there.
compression, rebound, and preload
Thanks, fellas.
I'd be interested to see what it would look like as a desk lamp.
Good Luck with the sale.

Sale pending.
Do the bushings come with it to fit the GS?
Nope. It's an R6 shock with R6 bushings.
Tell me what bushing you need, and I'll throw it in the box.
But, I'm gonna charge for it, and $5 labor for going to find it.
Homer how much of a job is it to fit to an 07 ? what extra bits you need im not a small bloke and stiffening her up is on my list
http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=49310.0 have a look thias isa what I did to install it
off topic but can you do any rear suspension mods without cutting your bike ?
SUPPOSEDLY... I can't promise, because I haven't put one on before....
SUPPOSEDLY you don't HAVE to grind anything. At the bottom of the shock, if you turn the spring so there's a gap at the spot where everyone's grinding the swingarm... it'll bolt right in.
There's a post around here, the guy did just that, and never had a problem. It didn't turn back around later, or affect the spring rate and all of that.
If you DO have to grind, you can do it with a dremel or a rat-tail file. It's on the bottom, you can't see it, and it's not much. I was worried about it affecting structural integrity, but no one's having a problem.
There are other shocks. This is the only one with 3-way adjustability, a pretty spring, and you don't have to weld an extension on your kickstand. So says Werase - GS500 racer/builder extraordinare.
As far as extra bits - the spacer he talks about in that link. I have the standard R6 bushing and the shock, not the linkage.
The bushing should be very inexpensive at a dealership or parts supplier. Less than $5.
That's why I'm selling for $45, not $50 - what I paid for it.
cool Thanks Homer i will do a little more research.
