Title: How can I dispose of Kreem tank wash? (Acid wash)
Post by: cboling on June 12, 2010, 08:18:13 AM
I did the Kreem coating to my gas tank a while back and so far so good. I still have the acid wash in a 2 gallon bucket and need to dispose of it. I believ it is a phosphoric acid but without looking at the safety sheet I am not 100% sure. Anyone know how or where I can dispose of this stuff? Is there anything to safely neutralize it? Can it be neutralized and then poured down the drain?

Phosphoric acid is not dangerous.  Dilute it and dump it in your yard.  Good for plants.

Thanks. That's good to know. If only I knew how to search better and was more patient to read.  O0
