Hi all, does anyone know where the screw or wire for the idle adjuster is on a suzuki gs500 (1991)? I managed to adjust it a bit using the screw at the top, near the accelerator, but would like to do it properly using the screw that should be somewhere near the carb?? im pleased for any help. thanks

The idle adjustment screw is in between the carbs, its a single large black plastic screw that can be turned by hand. If you set your idle by tightening the throttle cable, you will need to loosen it

This is looking in from the right side of the bike.. It is on the bottom of the carbs in the middle.

Mine is silver, but still on the bottom of the carbs in the middle. I have to mess with mine all the time because the choke doesn't work. I have to turn it up when I start the bike, then slowly turn it down as the bike warms up. When you're sitting on the bike you can reach down and find it pretty easily.

I'm also curious why this question is a survey with the only choices for answers being "1" and "2".
