I own a 2002 GS500...heres the story.
Last nite my bike wouldn't start...clicking is all i heard. Now this has happend once or twice before so i took out the battery (after checking the usual connections) and charged it overnite. This morning i put in the newly charged battery and it still wouldn't start. The clicking was initially absent as you could hear the bike wanting to turn over...but it did not.
The bike has 4700 miles on it and i use it every day....might i need new plugs..?? and if i do what kind are recommended. Being a novice i have never changed the plugs before so what do i need and how should i do it..??

Sounds like the battery may have a dead cell. Bring it to a shop and have them bench test it - it's usually free. They can tell you if the battery needs to be replaced or you should start troubleshooting elsewhere. I'm betting it's the battery though.
