Recently just bought my 1993 GS500E (well about to buy tonight) and I'd like to see if anyone has a used slip on I could buy, or direct me to a good one online.
I'd rather not spend anything over 200 bucks and that's a maximum.

if your on a budget you could just gut the baffles on your stock exhaust. I've done it and it sounds way better than stock.
I've heard drilled exhausts before, and they sound like junk. Kind of a like a lawnmower.

$200 shipped with the correct jet pack for your setup (K&N or stock) - I have a new scorpion in stainless and its oval with a nice snout.
On a 93 you have to weld a slipper piece which is easy available at any muffler shop where you would weld it as well I'd presume. My muffler guys gave me a few pieces, sadly I cannot find it, I lost a whole GS motor in the garage so no surprise there.

Adding an exhaust allows more air to flow through the engine, so you need to modify the fuel/air mixture in the carbs. The way to do that is to swap in larger jets (small screws with holes that allow fuel to flow through them). If you don't swap to bigger jets, your engine will run lean and hotter.
I didn't really want to spend 200 so ill try to find something else, 200 was the "if all else fails"... Thanks a lot for the offer, though
to stay cheap, you will probably end up getting a slip on for another bike, and having it welded on at a muffler shop. you will then need to rejet the carbs to have the engine run properly. there are a number of slipons available on ebay for around $100

Yeah the more I look around the more it seems like it's not going to be the price I want it to be, I may end up just abandon it. =\

I have a Yoshi that I bought from Pantablo a few years a ago and never used. I has a small scratch but works excellent.

Slip on and full pipe both need a rejet. Stock bike needs a rejet but not as severely.
