I already broke to the awful empire today but why in the hell is it so complicated to transfer playlists, counts etc. to a computer that is authorized in your "network". It is not like I'm trying to copy pirated music on to it. Actually, moving the library itself was cake but dangit having to redo my playlist and my top 25 well dammit that's stupid. And I'm not gonna pay $30 to have my playlist. I will just take out pen and paper and write the playlist down. Just don't know how to get the play counts.
Okay evil Apple Rant over!

Replace it with a decent program? I hate itunes. It's a true pain the the backside to use, but of course if you have an iwhatever you're stuck with it.
It's this very reason - software trying to control access to my own property (what I have bought it my property) - that I refuse to use I Tunes or anything similar. I use Windows Explorer to move my music files to my generic MP3 player (which my computer sees as a Files Storage Device).

This.
Oh try playing that (any damn compression algorithm) on a full on system. You'd quickly see why compression can cram so much in such a tight space. Cos most of it isn't there.
Of course run a real DA converter and it may get you over the problem in most except the worst of them.
Cool.
Buddha.
Where can I get sharepod at?
