Anyone see the world series last night? I was in CT with my family, cheering on the Marlins as they whupped the Yankees. Our beloved Red Sox may have lost, but at least New York got the same feeling this time. And who wants to loose to some stupid expansion team?

I'm just tired os seeing the Yanks win. And so are lots of people accross the country. Nice to see someone different win (even though they won 5 years ago). Plus they have one of the lowest team salaries in baseball prooving that you don't need to spend 160 million to win -40 million can also win ya a series if spent wisely.

I agree about the 160-40 difference. The problem is that the Sox are closer to the higher number, and we still have a flaky pitching staff :( Still, much of that is from the old management team and I think this new guy is doing a good job.

i repeat i am a cubs fan, but i really dislike the yankees, so, aftercubs were out, i pulled for the fish :nana: :thumb: :mrgreen:
