Title: Handful of GS Parts
Post by: SlimKlim on July 27, 2010, 07:45:23 PM
I have a little pile of parts that I don't need anymore. Some I bought thinking I needed to replace them and then it turned out to be something unplugged or wired wrong.

-Rear Master Brake Cylinder, off a '95ish I think, only needed a reservoir and got the whole mess- $10
-Rear Brake Line, same story- $5
-Rear Brake Switch- $5
-Sidestand Relay- $10
-Kickstand switch- $5
-Cams- $15
-Valve cover- $10
-Blown head, chewed up left exhaust valve, others seem to seal okay, probably take $100-$150 to refurbish- $40
-Spare front tire, 110 size. Good tread depth but it's been patched. Free if someone wants it.

I also have two blown bottom ends, a cylinder jug with some knarly scarring on one side, If anyone is interested in those for parts, let me know. Otherwise they are destined for the scrap yard. If you can use them we'll figure out a way to get them to you.

I also have some good top end parts, a head, more cams, valve cover, breather etc. I want to keep them until my motor arrives and I install it, run it and ride it for a little before I go selling off relatively valuable parts, just in case something is amiss with the new motor (hoarding issues). However if you're in need of these parts, PM me and I'll make a list of people to contact when I know I don't need them.

All prices are OBO, but do not include shipping, ie: don't offer me $5 with shipping for a brake line when we both know its going to take $7 to get it to you. C'mon now.  ;)

Hey, don't need a whole bottom end but there is one stupid little piece I need. Do you have any of those small oval covers on the left side sprocket covers? The one with the 2 screws in it that you remove to adjust the clutch? Let me know if you have no idea what I'm talking about and I can find a picture for you.

Just went and looked. I have one but I might end up needing it, I dont think one will come with my new motor. The other motor was missing it. If I end up not needing the one I have, I'll PM you.

Hi.  Do you still have the head (the good one)? Thanks...oh, and I'm in Belleville, Ontario, Canada...so I'm not sure what shipping will be, but I'll pay it if it's reasonable. Cheers.
