Title: Kind of a funny story.
Post by: Radiocure on October 27, 2003, 11:30:30 PM
I was taking Mission Blvd. up to school this morning and I was getting some funny looks as I was riding by people on my left. I saw this other biker guy and his girlfriend at the stop light up ahead. I slowed and stopped in the lane next to him. The girl on the back of the bike started giggling at me and pointed at my feet. I had been driving down the street with underwear caught on my shoes. :? That had to be the weirdest thing ever. It must have blown off the road or maybe I hooked it as I was going out the door. Either way, I feel so stupid. Pretty silly story though.

I am not sure I would have "inspected" them closely enough on the off hand chance that they were NOT mine.

Good excuse to go out and buy that mirrored visor for your full face helmet at any rate, just in case there are more....umm....incidents with underwear.  :)

That beats my morning. Although, I did get to work and realize my tail light was gone! I installed a R1 tail light with "temporary" brackets until I got around to fabricating something better. Guess it was more temporary than I thought. I found another R1 light on ebay that's still cheap - hopefully nobody will snake it from me! In the mean time I'll keep my stock light on there until I can make some permanent brackets! Maybe I can strap the light on with a pair of underpants!

A guy riding down the road on a motorcycle with underwear stuck on his foot in California?  So what's unusual about that??!? 8)

Thats so damn funny!
One time I was riding my motorcycle home from my African American freinds hous (this will gain revalvance later) and had too borrow some socks from him (mine were destryed while doing some stupid stuff with gasoline and fire). Anyway, I didnt look at the socks and continued to ride. I pull up to a stop light and 4 other African american chaps are looking at me snickering, and giving me weird gestures. Anyway, I didnt understand, got home. took of the socks and they were FUBU (For Us, By Us--- not white kids) with a referance to the Bronx embroidered on the side. That was not nearly as bad as underware, but still embarassing.

public pool + loose swim trunks + diving board + need for swan dive = massive amounts of embareassment.   Anyway, be glad you had a helmet on, and no one could get a clear look at your face. Although a few people at school know me by my jacket and bike =) so that wont save me!

Personally, I'd hope they were my underware, if they were someone elses (except possibly a girls   ) i would freek so hard that it some how jumped off the pavement onto my foot.
