Title: my gs500 has a flat spot

just wondering if anybody would know why my bike has a flat spot at about the 4000 rev mark?????

mine is usually from 5000-6000rpm

Your not giving us much to work with,is the bike stock? has the air filter ever been replaced etc.

the bike is stock not sure about the air filter not long had the bike its a 97 model i put it in the bike shop to get it running properly and they said the needle and seat wasnt in properly so it runs well idles well just that little problem.......

rejet or let the booda do it for you... either way, the flat spot you speak of is fairly normal in the two circuit gs's like yours. the 3 circuit gs's don't have as much of a problem.

don't buy a dynojet kit ! they're crap ! $$$
