well there's no reserve and opening bid was pretty low, so at least he's not trying to rip somebody off. There's plenty of good parts left there.
The black plate that's on the underside of the bike... I'm curious what's behind it. (Hole in the engine?) The condition isn't "ok", hehehe. It looks like it has been underwater or something. extreme rust on the chain and various other parts....
But the price is ok :) Current bid is $10.50
thats about as bad as the guy who lost 7 grand on the interstate.

isn't that black thing the reminants of an air dam
If that is considered "ok" shape, I'd hate to see what bad shape is... :o
Can't beat the price for parts. If it was local, I'd take e crack at it.
I call dibs on this one if no one else has bid. It's local to me, and parts is parts. I have an '02, so if the seat and tank are acceptable, I'll post them for cheap.

Iwanted to bid but its no where near me, if you get it let me know if you are going to use the carbs
if you get it lemme know about the tank and if it has the other plastics.
no title? Did he find it crashed on the side of the road? :?
Not that I think that it's every going to be roadworthy, but getting a title in PA is pretty easy. Most people just haven't tried. I've gotten them for two of my old VW GTIs (84 and 86) that were picked up from folks who bought them as parts cars. The 84 I picked up when I went to the guy's house to get a spare motor for another VW, his wife came out screaming at him to lose some of the GTIs he had sitting in the driveway.
He threw in the 84 for $0 if I would tow it out that day.
I found out quickly that the only thing wrong with it was a crapped out CV joint.
$200 for a straight A1 GTI and a spare motor.....one of my proudest moments.

i have to sya that mus tbe on hell of a deal.
parts i wouldnt mind are the front fender, and the upper and lower triples
Gotta love Ebay  There must be some good parts on the bike so if it sells cheap and a local person picks it up it might be worth $50
I actually emailed him about it and he told me that a friend gave him the bike without the title. I would check with the local DPS to find out if the bike was stolen. For 10 bucks I would put the gas in my truck to go pick it up. Hell what sucks for me is that the only thing I had left to do to finish my bike was carbs, exhaust pipe and battery, and of course no title(had to have it in running shape to apply for a title here). To me if it ran and wasn't stolen I could go get a title here in TX. But alas I have to part mine out.
i think its worth it just for the tank
Actually this guy has sold another bike w/o title, so evidentually this is something he happens to run across.

I love the description on that one, "Lights Work". :) Well that's handy, you won't trip over it when you go out to the garage at night.

"Evidentually" is a perfectly cromulent word.
So I mispelled it (evidentially, happens to everyone eventually) today is not my day in any shape or form, online or offline. :x

Evidently not.
Sorry, couldn't resist!
To just cut Moose some slack. If the bike is stolen, it could be used evidentially against him in a court of law. :thumb:
Great save, bbanjo!
just my 2 cents here, if by some odd chance, it turns out to be hot, odds are in its present condition its rightful owner probably wont want it back, that is unless he/she was planning its use for parts? :nono:
