Title: carb bowls
Post by: joneruss on August 07, 2010, 02:17:18 PM
I was working on my GS500 1991 carbs and removed the bowls to clean them. I wasn't paying attention when I assembled them and put the left bowl on the right carb and the right, on the left carb. The bike starts without problem and revs. What I want to know is if there are any passages in the bowls that may be blocked which will cause a problem while riding?

It won't hurt anything but good luck getting to the float bowl drain screws   >:(

and doing them one at a time will keep you from getting the parts mixed up
